Tsunami Concert Southwell Minster

Dear Gary,

The Tsunami Concert was a great success.  All the artistes were very much appreciated by the audience and the comments that I have heard were full of praise for those taking part.  The whole proceedings allowed people to relax and enjoy some marvellous music - both vocal and instrumental in a fabulous venue.  And, although I do not yet know the final figure, between us we should have raised a substantial amount for "Beyond Tsunami".

On behalf of the Choir, I thank you all for performing at the Concert, your contribution to the event was very much appreciated, what talent!  It would be great to think that we could perform together again, sometime in the near future.

Best wishes and yours sincerely,

John N. Senior

Choir Secretary

Christmas Concert at Southwell Minster

Dear Gary

Just a note to say thank you to yourself and members of the Police Band for making the joint Emergency Carol Service such a memorable one. Southwell Minster was certainly a perfect venue for the Band to display their professional ability and numerous comments were made to me about the Band's performance. Thank you for your hard work in making this first joint Emergency Service Carol Service such a resounding success.

Yours sincerely, Howard G Roberts Deputy Chief Constable

Hi Gary,

I thought I would just like to say what a splendid performance you all made last night at the carol service. It is the first time that I have heard the band and  was most impressed and will most certainly attend future functions. Thank you for such pleasure your band gives.

THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION CITY OF NOTTINGHAM BRANCH

104A Upper Parliament Street Nottingham

Dear Sir, On behalf of the above named branch, may I extend to you and the Band the branches heartfelt thanks for participating in the recent Festival of Remembrance.  Without your input there would have been virtually no Concert at all. Things didn't go as anticipated as was so very clear, but this did not spoil for me listening to your lovely sound.

Yours sincerely Mrs J Marsh Secretary (Hon sec to Branch))

From Lt Colonel JES London AGP (RMP)

In relation to the formal Mess Dinner.  The occasion was absolutely splendid and every bit as comparable to a Military dinner.  Your band is a great tribute to the Force and I can quite understand its wide popularity and that everyone is delighted with its musical excellence.

Subject: THANKS!!!

What a fantastic evening we have just had!!!  The atmosphere was wonderful, it made you forget you were just in Misterton for a while and felt like you were in London or somewhere seeing a show when you closed your eyes. You were all brilliant, the music was outstanding, it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end!!

We saw you all at Misterton Church on June 19th  (please come again soon!), I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing you in Retford at The Majestic Theatre in October, (hope you can play something from "Cats", my Grandma used to take me to see that show every time we stayed down in London with her when I was a younger)

Hope your Website is up and running soon so we can find out about more events.

Thanks for an excellent night.

Fiona
